Official Rules

These contest rules are specific to the above contest conducted by Entercom Milwaukee, LLC d/b/a WMYX (collectively, the “Station”). Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available at the Station’s studio at 11800 W. Grange Avenue, Hales Corners, WI 53151 during regular business hours and on the contest page on the Station’s website at 991wmyx.com. To the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.
Each weekday (excluding holidays) until further notice, WMYX 99.1 will conduct a “Phrase That Pays” contest (“Contest”). Each individual daily play of the Contest will be a separate contest but will each be governed by these contest rules. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Station reserves the right not to conduct (skip) this Contest on any particular day or for weeks or months at a time, from time to time, in its sole discretion.
How to Enter/How to Win
1. No purchase necessary.
2. On contest days (weekdays only, no holidays) when the Contest is played (“Daily Contest Day(s)”), between 8:00AM and 5:00PM only, Station will make one or more telephone call(s) to randomly selected phone numbers in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Ozaukee, Kenosha, Sheboygan, Walworth and Washington counties in the state of Wisconsin.
3. Only the first person answering the phone will be eligible to play the Contest. Persons who are called will be asked the following question: “What is the phrase that pays?” The correct response is “The Mix Means Variety” (the “Winning Phrase”). Only the first answer given will be accepted. The Winning Phrase must be recited verbatim, as determined by Station personnel at their sole discretion, in order to win (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the contest rules).
4. In the event that an automatic answering machine answers, Station will listen to the greeting message. If the greeting message contains the Winning Phrase, the Station personality will leave a message instructing the person to call the radio Station to claim their prize. In the event that more than one person is served by the answering machine, the prize shall be awarded to whomever the phone number is billed to (Station will require proof of billing status prior to delivering any prize), subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the contest rules. In the event that the answering machine serves a commercial enterprise (i.e., voicemail) the prize shall be awarded to the management of that enterprise for distribution as they see fit if such enterprise is willing to accept the prize (Station will only recognize the enterprise as a whole as the winner and will issue only one check upon completion of all Station required paperwork) .
5. Station management reserves the right to determine the frequency with which calls are made on any particular Daily Contest Day and/or whether to suspend the Contest for any period of time or terminate the Contest at any time, all in its sole discretion.
Prize(s)
6. Each verified winner will win a cash prize of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), payable by company check. Station will initially verify all winner information by telephone and will notify that person by telephone when the check is ready to be picked up (which will be within 8 weeks of the verification telephone call from the Station promotion department).
7. Potential winners in this Contest will be required to pick up their check at the Station office located at 11800 W Grange Avenue in Hales Corner during regular business hours and must present valid state photo ID, provide their social security number, sign a liability release agreement and/or other documents required by Station in order to be entitled to win a prize in this Contest. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. Station reserves the right to accept or deny awarding the prize based on the identification or other information presented (or failure to be presented).

Other Rules Specific to this Contest
9. This Contest is open to all persons regardless of having won a prize from the Station in the recent past.
10. There is no minimum age requirement to participate in or win this Contest. However, all contestants who are under 18 years of age will be required to have their legal guardians co-execute all documents required in connection with this contest and failure to do so in a timely manner will result in automatic disqualification and any prize will be forfeited. For all purposes under these rules, the parent or legal guardian will be recognized as the actual winner of the prize.
