Project Ripple Effect is hosting Wild About Volunteering, an event that will feature 20 diverse organizations, 18 of which are non-profit and indigenous to Milwaukee. Whatever your volunteer passion, we’re sure you’ll discover an adventure that coincides with your ferocious hunger for the greater good.
Here at 99.1 WMYX, we believe in making a difference – not just on the air, but also in the lives of others and in our community. Each year, Mix team members set aside one day to participate in Make a Difference Day, a company-wide initiative that provides community based charitable work for a variety of humanitarian causes. You can Make a Difference too! That’s where our friends at Project Ripple Effect come in.
Greater Milwaukee Project Ripple Effect™ is a connection between those in need and those who want to help. If all of us give just an hour a week to a cause that matters, think of the effect on our city, our communities, not to mention our culture. Our mission is to encourage, educate, engage and ultimately spread good by involving more people and corporations.
