In today's world it's no easy task balancing family, career and relationships. It's a challenge when everything is going well, but when something's not quite right, it can be daunting. Especially when you can't quite put your finger on what's wrong. That's just how mental illness can pop into your life - Something isn't quite right with you or perhaps someone you love. Deep down you know you could use some help, but the big question is; where do you start?
99.1 WMYX, our friends at Mental Health America of Wisconsin and the Charles E. Kubly Foundation have put together some resources below, including an online confidential screening, to help you discover if a closer look into mental health is something that you should consider. Please feel free to look around. If you find you have questions or are looking for additional resources please contact Mental Health America Wisconsin directly at

IMPORTANT: No matter what you've been told, no matter what you may have heard, it's important to know that there is no "shame" in seeking help for yourself or your loved ones. People do not choose to have a mental illness, it just happens. In fact, it happens a lot. One out of every five Americans will struggle with some form of mental illness during the next year. Receiving help from a mental health professional is no different than getting workout advice from a personal trainer. Same concept, just a different part of the body. And, just like a good workout program, the sooner you get started the better off you’ll be.
99.1 WMYX, Mental Health America of Wisconsin and the Charles E. Kubly Foundation are committed to helping you achieve a healthy balance in your life and the lives of those you love. Again, please feel free to contact Mental Health America Wisconsin directly at
