The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Northwestern Mutual Children’s Theater and PlayZone features not only jungle gyms and slides, but a children’s theater and interactive activities for the whole family! This area is open daily, all 11 days of the festival, from 12:00 – 8:00 pm.  Also, be sure to stop by the Target Kids Activity Tents any day between Noon and 5:30 pm to engage in these FREE family activities presented by Target:

 

You don’t just play Wii…you experience it! With Remix Presents Real Motion Video Games selected just for kids, young festival attendees will have a chance to try out the hottest video game system for the first time or show off their skills during all eleven days of Summerfest. 
 

Go Green with Discovery World! Stop by in the children's area each day of Summerfest and create new ways to be friends with the world.

 

The Milwaukee Center for Independence (MCFI) is a community-based non-profit agency serving children, adults and families with special needs since 1938. Stop by and create your own cereal necklace, write your name in sign language, learn a new tune with Music Jamboree and enjoy many other family fun activities.

 

Check out U B the Band and discover what it’s like to be a rock star. It’s your chance to shine!  This interactive musical show features a full rock-band style set-up with two drum sets, guitar, bass and microphones. No experience necessary. Exhibition runs June 28 – 29 and July 5 – 6.

 

Calliope Puppets from New Orleans is making a return appearance at Summerfest. Folktales from around the world will be featured on the portable walking stage. Children are encouraged to participate in each show! Don’t miss their shows on July 1-4 in the Children’s Area.
